Lisa Q
Lisa has worked in the fitness industry for over 20 years, coaching athletes of all ages and fitness levels at various venues, from Gold’s Gym to military bases around the world.
Lisa was first exposed to CrossFit by her two sons, both active duty Marines. Upon finding herself out of breath from her first CrossFit warm-up, Lisa began to realize an entirely new point of view regarding health and fitness. Though she was a competitive tri-athlete at the time, she realized that her overall conditioning was incomplete. She immediately embarked on the adventure of CrossFit, both as an athlete, and as the owner of CrossFit Spotsy.
Lisa continues to set and exceed her own fitness goals, as well as encourage others to do the same. She takes away all excuses and expects a give it your all attitude from every athlete in order to assist each individual realize their human performance potential.

Kerry Quinn
As a career Marine for over 20 years (now retired) the staple for working out was Run, Run some more, then so some pull-ups and sit-ups as icing on the cake. I have competed in hundreds of road races at distances of 5k to the Marathon and truly enjoy running. Having learned of CrossFit from our sons, in the Fall of 2007 my wife Lisa attended a CrossFit Level I certification weekend and began to CrossFit at the gym or at times in our garage. Once day I “tried” a CrossFit workout and she smoked me. I began to cherry-pick the workouts for about a year mixing in a lot more running but recently just CrossFit and find it a great challenge. Lisa opened CrossFit Spotsy in Spring of 2008 and I have been her “Not-so-Silent” partner through the adventure. We have three great kids Tyler (CrossFit-er and Marine), Xavier (CrossFit-er and Marine) & Tiana (CrossFit-er and College Soccer Star).

Tim Taft
Tim is currently a DoD Contractor working in Northern Virginia and a CrossFit Level I certified Trainer. He is also an CrossFit Olympic Weightlifting Trainer and an avid CrossFitter since 2005. He is the owner of CrossFit Fredericksburg, a conditioning coach for a girls field hockey team, married to the smoking hot (CrossFit Beast) Amy Andersen Taft and father to two wonderful kids. Tim is a retired Special Forces Warrant Officer with combat experience in support of Operations DESERT SHIELD/DESERT STORM (Iraq), Operation PROVIDE COMFORT I and II (Iraq), Operation JOINT ENDEAVOR, JOINT GUARD and JOINT FORGE (Bosnia), Operation ENDURING FREEDOM (Afghanistan) and Operation IRAQI FREEDOM (Iraq). Only regret…CrossFit wasn’t thought of in 1983-would have saved me endless hours of ineffective and inefficient training time.

Andy Martinez
Andy stumbled upon Crossfit while reading a magazine. He started checking out the main site & trying to incorporate some of the moves into his regular workouts. When a foot injury prevented him from running, he began to follow the program regularly. He noticed drastic results but only experienced the full intensity of the system after joining CrossFit Spotsy. His wife is supportive & his dogs begrudgingly “volunteer” for squat practice.
